I’ve spent a good chunk of time with Kirby and the Forgotten Land both on the (paid links) Switch and Switch 2. I recently did a review for the base game’s Switch version and also a review for the (paid link) Star Crossed World DLC. Now, I want to talk about my favorite Kirby copy abilities, the ones I find most useful in a fight. Let’s get started.

Dragon Fire

This is a variant of the original fire ability. Personally, I like it because how much damage it does and the burn effect it leaves on your enemies. Plus, Kirby looks pretty cool with it.

Blizzard Ice

Thid is in similar fashion to the fire. Just instead of causing fire damage, you actually freeze the enemy and when the ice breaks, it does a sizeable amount of damage. I especially like this with bosses that like to move a lot, because having it stay frozen just means an easier target.

Meta Knight Sword

This is, you guessed it, the Meta Knight sword. The one and only wielded by, you guessed it, Meta Knight. It’s a variant of the original Sword ability and can shoot air slices when Kirby is at full health. Pretty nice if you can keep it up but it also packs a nice punch up close too.

Space Ranger

While I do think the original Ranger ability is nice and very useful, having this just makes a fight even more fun. A fully charged shot actually explodes into a ball of energy, consistently damaging any enemy trapped inside. I particularly like using it on bosses.

Chakram Cutter

A variant of the Cutter ability. It allows you to dual weird the cutters and fire at almost double the speed of the original. It’s handy for multiple enemies.

Conclusion

What are you favorite Kirby copy abilities from Kirby and the Forgotten Land? Give us a shout over on our Facebook page and let us know. Be on lookout for more Kirby content in the future and maybe check out our review for (paid link) Kirby Star Allies.

As always, happy gaming.
