It’s been a while. I really should have had this up a couple of weeks ago but I slacked off and had a bit of everything going on. Well, here we are now so, let’s get started with these February 2026 game pickups! Do make sure to check out January’s if you missed it.
PS Vita
Wipeout 2048
I have some good memories from when I owned this the first go around. Thought I would snag it quick so I could go a few races, which I have. It’s a fun title that I can’t wait to get into more of later on.
Gravity Rush
I’ve already beaten this and did a review for it. I really like (paid link) Gravity Rush and always have so it was nice to revisit after so many years. I also own the (paid link) Playstation 4 version but never did much to it.
Persona 4 Golden
I already own this on Steam, thanks to Downs, but I just had to get a (paid link) copy. This was one of my first Vita titles years ago and I really regretted selling it off. I talked about this a good bit in I Bought Vita Games in 2026 but the game holds a lot of special memories with the PS Vita Amino we used to run. I haven’t actually began playing it yet but I know I will in the near future.
Mary Skelter
Despite having this game on Steam and having (paid link) Mary Skelter 2 on the Switch which allows me to download and play the first game, I just had to have an (paid link) original copy. I was playing this for a bit when I first got it but it fell off of my radar because of tome and other games. I’ll get back to it eventually.
Muramasa
A game I have been thinking about and wanting for some time now. I own the (paid link) Wii version but nothing beats the (paid link) Vita version. Especially given I can play it anywhere at anytime. I’m about 4 hours into Momohime’s story. I had this game takes a back seat due to (paid link) Resident Evil Requiem releasing as well as (paid link) Ys X. You’ll find out more about those in March’s pickup article.
Yomawari Night Alone
This is one horror series I really want to find time for this year. It was always so unsettling and hard for me. I hated being chased but it just amped up the atmosphere. Hopefully later on, you’ll see this in Games I’m Playing.
Nintendo switch
Stray
I’ve had this in my.list of games to play for a while but I just never have gotten around to it. Now that I own the (paid link) Switch version, my chances of playing it really shot up. Maybe one day soon.
Nintendo Switch 2
Hades II
I have been really liking this game. It’s taken a back seat for a moment since other games have came out but I was pretty obsessed with it for a good bit. I’ve reached Chronos a few times but can’t beat him yet and I also have reached Olympus. It’s such a fun title.
Animal Crossing New Horizons
I’m really glad we are given the opportunity to upgrade to the (paid link) Switch 2 version for only $5. It’s a great deal. Unfortunately I am yet to play this but that’s due to playing Stardew Valley. I did thankfully finish with that game and did a review so maybe Animal Crossing will get its time soon.
Steam
Zapper
I used to own the (paid link) PS2 version of this game. I was surprised to find it on Steam for so cheap so I jumped on it. I haven’t gotten into it yet but I’m sure I will before long.
