Downs was nice enough to give me this game on Steam a while back and it’s highly addictive. I know this is only a $5 discount but the game is worth it. There’s no shortage of how many times you could play through it.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma

Sale Price: $44.00

Original Price: $49.99

Sale Ends: Unknown

“The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope. You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you. “Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land.” The classic action-RPG and life-simulation gameplay beloved by Rune Factory fans across the globe is boldly reimagined in Guardians of Azuma. This all-new adventure takes place in the never-before-seen eastern country of Azuma where you will assume the Earth Dancer powers and fight against the corruption spreading throughout Azuma to bring hope back to this once-prosperous land. Choose from one of two protagonists whose destinies are intertwined by mysterious forces. Use sacred treasures to fight against the Blight’s many forms to restore the people, and even gods, to their natural glory. Take farming further, rebuilding entire villages and cultivating new allies and resources along the way. Explore seasonal-themed villages heavily inspired by traditional Japanese culture, each with brand-new festivals and revamped fan-favorites, as well as charming romance candidates.”

Okay, not much of a discount here but with it just releasing going on four months ago, this is a nice amount to pay. Downs wrote our review for this one, so check it out if you’re curious if this is for you or not.

Nintendo

With (paid link) Hades II releasing digitally this week, it would be a great time to hop into the first game and try your hand. I have owned this game in the past and just made it to the third area at best. This has been a few years ago though, so I may see how I fair this time.

Goosebumps: Terror in Little Creek

Amazon (paid link)

I have never played a Goosebumps game but I did grow up reading the books and actually most recently read (paid link) Welcome to Dead House a few years ago. I’m unsure how this game is, but I thought it looked interesting enough to share with everyone.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Sale Price: $3.74

Original Price: $24.99

Sale Ends: 10-8

“Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is a Horrorpunk Action RPG filled with Lovecraftian horrors and Cronenbergian gore, making it the most gruesome take on the isometric Souls-like genre yet!

You are the last surviving Striver of Dibrom. Your duty, for which you have trained your whole life, is to defeat the Seven Acolytes, accursed and powerful beings, possessed by malevolent deities called Gahars.

Challenging foes, mini-bosses, and memorable large-scale boss fights with fully orchestrated music, are central to the world of Morbid. To overcome these obstacles you must master the combat, as well as improve your character and gear through a wealth of elements such as Quests, Perks, Runes, Upgrades, and Looting.

The Gahars have bound their twisted minds to the flesh of the Seven Acolytes, for without hosts they cannot survive. You must slay the Acolytes, thus ridding the Gahars of their flesh. Succeed, and you’ll free the kingdom from the heavy yoke of their terror. Fail, and the malicious gods rule on, as the Acolytes rise anew, and madness prevails.”

Nintendo

So I actually own this on Steam and have played probably about 5 hours of it. The game is a neat, challenging, action RPG worth your time. The second game, (paid link) Morbid The Lords of Ire released somewhat recently so it might be a great time to jump in.

The Coma: Triple Threat Bundle

Sale Price: $4.19

Original Price: $34.99

Sale Ends: 10-5

“The Coma: Recut

After spending all night studying for the last day of Sehwa High’s final exams, Youngho has an eerie dream. He arrives at school the next morning and learns someone tried to commit suicide in school the night before. Despite this, class goes on! Youngho drifts asleep during the final only to wake and find himself trapped in the school at night. The only problem is… he’s not alone. You can run. You can hide. Can you survive while piecing together the nightmarish mystery of Sehwa High?

The Coma 2B: Catacomb

Youngho’s second adventure begins. With only the faint hope of escaping from the horrors within the mirror dimension, Youngho collects the pages of Yaesol’s notes to find the location of a powerful relic sword that can be used against the Vicious Sister. Things get complicated when an unwanted invader comes to the mirror dimension, and a new character with ties to Yaesol appears in order to help Youngho. Will Youngho be able to solve the mystery behind the huge facility beneath Dokaebi Market and defeat the Vicious Sister?

The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters

Mina Park, a student of Sehwa High and Youngho’s childhood friend, awakens at night in Sehwa High. It isn’t long before she realizes that something is amiss. The once-familiar school where she spends her evenings studying looks twisted by something dark and sinister. She finds herself pursued by someone, or something, that looks eerily like her English teacher. To survive, Mina must venture beyond the boundaries of her school and into the surrounding district. There, she will encounter strange creatures, mysterious strangers, and uneasy allies.”

Nintendo

I already own all of these on Steam as well, but I have to say, this is an extremely great price point if you’ve never played them before!

Orbital Bullet

Sale Price: $1.99

Original Price: $19.99

Sale Ends: 10-7

“Orbital Bullet is a fast paced 360° action-platformer with rogue-lite elements, where all actions take place in a circular pattern. Fight your way through a variety of procedural planets and use body modifications, crafting, upgrades and heavy weaponry.”

Nintendo

I was playing this one regularly for a time on my Steam Deck, but eventually let it go. That isn’t to say the game is bad though. It’s actually very unique and a ton of fun, just challenging and time-consuming.

Conclusion

Will you be buying any of these? I might be. If you do, let us know. Make sure to check out this week’s edition in What I’m Playing and as usual, happy gaming.
