We have been blessed with the news of a Corpse Party compilation game headed our way titled Corpse Party Tetralogy pack. This one is even a compilation of all of the Heavenly Host titles, which is a big deal. Now this game is only on Play Asia as of right now and only with a Japanese listing with Japanese language and subtitles only. However, I would find it very odd if we did not get an English version. Anyway, what does this compilation have exactly? Let’s go over it.
Corpse Party Blood Covered: Repeated Fear
This is the game that started it all. Join Ayumi and her friends as they get sent to Heavenly Host Elememtary and must survive against all the evil that resides there. This game has several versions across multiple platforms, but I’m seriously happy to play again on the Switch anytime.
Corpse Party: Book of Shadows
The second game in the series which plays much different than the first game. This go around we have a visual novel that covers the events of the first game, though I think they sometimes play out differently if I remember correctly. My knowledge for this is limited to some YouTube videos and reading about it online. I’ve never had the joy of playing it for myself.
Corpse Party: The Anthology – Sachiko no Renai Yuugi – Hysteric Birthday 2U
This is a Corpse Party title that we never received in North America. It was a game about Sachiko inviting everyone to her birthday party and played as a visual novel. Outside of that, I know nothing about it.
Corpse Party: Blood Drive
This was released first for the Playstation Vita in 2016 and was a great ride then. It was later brought to Steam and the Switch. I’m happy to see the series go full circle in this release and allow everyone to see the Heavenly Host series at its fullest.
Conclusion
This may be the absolute perfect way to experience the series all in one place. I know I’ll be grabbing a copy and I hope many others do as well. If you haven’t experienced any of these yet, you should.
