If you haven’t heard by now about the amazing Hello Kitty Island Adventure, well, then you should go out and buy this adorable cozy game. If you are already enjoying it, then I’ve got great news for my Switch and Steam players. The team behind the game have come forward and said they’re working on an update for us all. What exactly is part of this Hello Kitty Island Adventure update? Let’s break it down.
Also, I will be referencing what the team said and also be showing screenshots from the Reddit post which has the information pulled directly off of the Discord server the dev team spoke in. Please look at the Reddit post yourself if you wish. Screenshots will be below as we break each of these down.
Stacking Furniture
I, for one, will be happy when I can use a mannequin for multiple pieces of clothing. This was quite annoying when I arranged a cabin for a visitor who required 5 articles of clothing in the cabin and I had to make five mannequins just to make it happen.
Calling Friends
This also interests me as I do kind of find it a small hassle to leave whatever I am doing to track down the appropriate friend for the skill I want. Though it isn’t hard to travel with the mailboxes, I still like the thoughts of just summoning someone as needed.
New Areas
I’m not quite caught up with every location available on the map, but I’m still glad to see that we are receiving new areas for the people who already have them all available to them.
Gift Giving Balancing
I’m happy to see this is happening since I have been confused about this until recently. It is not how many hearts that makes a gift the best option, but more how many tags it has. I just learnt of this a few days ago. I’m glad this is being fixed as the hearts make it just overall more simple to understand.
Changes to Time Gating
Above you see how they discuss changing the rules about spawned items and such. I like this idea particularly for the people who do not play every day or simply can’t. Take note though that it says these changes are not guaranteed.
Final Words
What does everyone else make of this Hello Kitty Island Adventure update? I quite like everything I’ve read and I can’t wait to see it happen. Until the update, I’ll just be enjoying my time with the game.
