If you haven’t heard the news, there’s been a new Nintendo Switch bundle announced. It’s about time given that the most popular bundle we’ve seen has been the Mario Kart 8 one, which launched not long into the Switch’s life cycle. So which bundle is this?
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
This bundle is, no surprise, with another (paid link) Mario title. However, the Switch system in question is the OLED Switch, the one with the white JoyCons. I think that’s pretty neat. This is a pretty cool situation if you’re in the market for the system.
However, it is maybe slightly odd with the timing since the Nintendo Switch 2 will be releasing later this year. Nintendo has a reason, I’m sure. Speaking of the Switch 2 though, go look at this blog where we discussed a wishlist of games for the system.
Future Bundles?
I would say this will be the only new Switch bundle we see but who knows for sure? It did take them this long to get this one out. The likelihood of the Nintendo Switch 2 being bundled with Mario Kart 9 though is pretty high. This is, of course, not confirmed. It is merely speculation.
New Switch Owners
Now if you don’t already own a Switch and don’t see yourself trying to grab a Nintendo Switch 2, this might be a good time to hop in and buy one. There’s plenty of games out and as long as we are on the subject, we just published an article a couple of weeks ago discussing 10 Switch games to buy.
Conclusion
Will you be buying this bundle? I already own multiple Switch systems and have no need for another, but this could be good for someone else. Either way, happy gaming everyone as we await the Switch 2.
