Nintendo

I’m not heavy into racing games but this at least looks interesting. I’ll probably catch it on sale at some point.

Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass

“One day, Jimmy looked inside.

The game takes place in the dream of an eight-year-old boy. Nintendo

The artworks reminds me of (paid link) Earthbound, which I am pretty sure that’s what they were going for. It might be worth checking out.

Nintendo Switch (paid link)

Nintendo Switch 2 (paid link)

I’ll eventually grab this but I’ve never jumped into Dragon Quest, so it will be sometime later. I did buy (paid link) Dragon Quest I+II for the Switch 2 and plan to play it to kick off my journey.

Lovish

Price: $14.99

Release Date: 2-5

“The only thing more dangerous than monsters is unrequited love.

Sir Solomon and the Saviors of Light depart Castle Cornelius to free Princess Tsuna from the grasp of the evil Devil Lord!

Solomon ventures into the Devil Lord’s castle alone, vowing to steal the princess’s heart.”

Nintendo

Truth be told, I have no idea how to feel about this one. It doesn’t look necessarily bad but I won’t be picking it up unless it goes dirt cheap.

Dragon Spira

Price: $19.99

System: Switch

Release Date: 2-5

“Master the board game with Spirit Beasts in a pixel-art fantasy RPG!

A thousand years ago, the divine created the world and six eggs. The beings born from them, called Spirit Beasts, were entrusted with prosperity but eventually rebelled. Enraged, the divine sealed them away and vanished, leaving behind humanity, the Divine Sword, and the Seed of Hope. Now, fate stirs once more as a new hero rises…

Collect items, unlock powerful Wonder Skills, and raise a Spirit Beast companion that evolves with the story. Spin the roulette, grow stronger, and uncover the truth behind the sealed legends!”

Nintendo

I want to say this looks like a very nostalgic RPG which I am sure that’s exactly what they aimed for. It worked, for me anyway, because I definitely want to give it a try sometime in the future.

Magic Rune Stone

Nintendo

Another roguelike? Sign me up. I may wait until a good sale to pick it up but I’m always down for another adventure.

Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Price: $39.99

System: Switch 2

Release Date: 2-6

“Carmageddon smashes back with a spin-off roguelite vehicular‑combat mayhem. Adapt, upgrade, and unleash destruction on post‑apocalyptic zombie hordes.

BRUTAL CAR COMBAT REBORN

Nintendo

Cars and zombies? Sign me up! Actually this series has been around for a good while. The first game being on the (paid link) Nintendo 64. I’ll be keeping an eye on it.

Conclusion

That’s all for this week? Planning to pick up Dragon Quest VII? I know I will sometime in the future. Until then, you can check out my entries in Games I’m Playing to keep up with the latest. Until next time, happy gaming.
