I’m not really sure what to think about this game. I may eventually grab it on sale but we will see.
Mio: Memories in Orbit

Price: $19.99
Sysstems: Switch & Switch 2
Release Date: 1-20
“Revive the Memories of the Vessel
A mesmerizing, intertwined, decaying world awaits.
Awaken MIO, a nimble robot with extraordinary abilities, and unravel the mysteries of the Vessel, an enormous technological ark overgrown with lush vegetation and machines gone rogue.
Nobody knows why the Pearls, The Vessel’s AI caretakers, have ceased functioning. Forgotten by all, the Vessel faces imminent shutdown. Dive into its depths to revive its lost memories, as you unravel your true past and destiny, in this mesmerizing metroidvania.
Will you rise to the challenge and save the Vessel from destruction? Will you dare to seek and wake its memories?”
This looks good for the price but I’ll still wait for a sale.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Price: $59.99
System: Switch 2
Release Date: 1-22
“Become immersed in exhilarating battles as a nameless hero in the Three Kingdoms
・ The most exhilarating action in the series’ history
Tension-filled battlefields where you clash against massive armies stretching as far as the eye can see. How will you handle the onslaught of enemies? Your military prowess will serve you well as you fight in tandem with your allies in tactical battles unique to the “DYNASTY WARRIORS” franchise and experience the most exhilarating action in the series’ history.”
I’m not really a Dynasty Warriors fan so I’ll pass on this. However, it is worth noting that there is a (paid link) physical copy releasing next month.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Price: $39.99
System: Switch 2
Release Date: 1-22
“In the bustling city of Midgar, lead Cloud and his allies in their fight against the Shinra Electric Power Company in a legendary tale filled with unforgettable characters and intense battles that fuse fast-paced action with strategic commands.”
Amazon (paid link)
I know there’s a lot of torn debate for the Final Fantasy VII remake being on the Switch 2. Plenty of people bashing it, some giving it praise. All based on trailers and images that is. I’m neutral on it all, since I scarcely play Final Fantasy titles but hey, we’ll see how it goes.
They are Billions

Price: $29.99
System: Switch 2
Release Date: 1-22
“Yes! They are billions! and they are more than ever! The world is full of infected creatures… they roam, smell, and listen. Every one of them has their own AI. Can you survive?
They Are Billions is a Steampunk strategy game set on a post-apocalyptic planet. Build and defend colonies to survive against the billions of infected that seek to annihilate the few remaining living humans. Can humanity survive after the zombie apocalypse?”
I don’t know what to say for this game but it looks interesting. I’ll probably throw it on the wishlist and wait for a good sale.
Escape from Ever After

Price: $24.99
System: Switch
Release Date: 1-23
“Dive into storybook worlds from Lovecraft to sci-fi in this genre-bending RPG!
Escape from Ever After is an adventure RPG where fairytale and storybook characters must fight back against capitalism!”
This looks a lot like Paper Mario, but that’s not bad. It actually caught my attention from the first trailer I saw, so I’ll be keeping an eye on it.
Conclusion
Will you be buying any of these? Escape from Ever After definitely has my attention, that’s for sure. In the meantime, have fun with your other games. Happy gaming everyone!
