Who’s ready for some more Switch & Switch 2 games releasing this week? Me too! Let’s get started.
Factorio

Price: $35.00
System: Switch 2
Release Date: 12-22
“The factory must grow
Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories. You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. In the beginning you will find yourself chopping trees, mining ores and crafting mechanical arms and transport belts by hand, but in short time you can become an industrial powerhouse, with huge solar fields, oil refining and cracking, manufacture and deployment of construction and logistic robots, all for your resource needs. However this heavy exploitation of the planet’s resources does not sit nicely with the locals, so you will have to be prepared to defend yourself and your machine empire.
Join forces with other players in cooperative Multiplayer, create huge factories, collaborate and delegate tasks between you and your friends. While the core gameplay is in the form of the freeplay scenario, there are a range of interesting challenges in the form of Scenarios. If you don’t find any maps or scenarios you enjoy, you can create your own with the in-game Map Editor, place down entities, enemies, and terrain in any way you like.”
I have a friend, who actually wrote this article here, that’s been trying to get me into this game for a long time. I haven’t quite done so yet but hey, maybe now I’ll give it a chance. I suppose we will see.

Oh yes, another roguelike. You know I’ll be seeking an eye on this one to buy later. I haven’t played a seriously good roguelike since Twilight Survivors I feel like, and that was at the start of the year. Go check out my review for that one.
Unholy Adventure: Mystery

“In the world of point and click adventure games, Unholy Adventure: Mystery will offer you a distinctive experience of story-rich adventure with a hint of surrealism.

I’m not that big on point and click games but maybe? The price isn’t bad.
Christmas Mutilator

Price: $9.99
System: Switch
Release Date: 12-22
“An immersive horror and home invasion game
Inspired by the gritty atmosphere and taut suspense of 80s slasher films, Christmas Mutilator™ is a gripping, stealth-driven horror experience set in the chilly seclusion of a lonely, snow-covered cabin. You take on the role of Amelia, a loving mother and wife who has traveled to the remote cabin to celebrate Christmas with her husband, Adam, and kids. But when a murderous maniac starts stalking the cabin, your vacation plans take a terrible turn.”
I’ll probably grab this myself at a later date when it goes on sale. It doesn’t seem bad for a cheap horror experience.
Sheepy: A Short Adventure

“A Short Handcrafted Pixel Art Platformer that follows Sheepy, an abandoned plushy brought to life. Sheepy: A Short Adventure is the first short game from MrSuicideSheep.
Help Sheepy, an abandoned plushy brought to life, as he explores a forgotten and broken world. Sheepy: A Short Adventure is the first short game from MrSuicideSheep.”
Okay, this has definitely caught my interest. I’ve been getting more and more info 2D side scrolling games lately because of Silksong, which isn’t bad that it did that to me. With that price, I plan to buy it as soon as it drops.
