There aren’t as many Switch & Switch 2 games releasing this week that I thought would be worth showing. We do have a few though so let’s just hop right in and get started.

Skate Story

Price: $19.99

System: Switch 2

Release Date: 12-8

“Ollie, kickflip, and grind your way through the ash and smoke of the Underworld as you take on a seemingly impossible quest.

You are a demon in the Underworld, made out of glass and pain. The Devil has given you a skateboard with a simple deal: Skate to the Moon and swallow it — and you shall be freed.

Ollie, kickflip, and grind your way through the ash and smoke of The Emptylands as you take on a seemingly impossible quest. Learn to master your weight and motion to conquer the weeping concrete. Savour the ritualistic beauty as you set your feet to pop a perfect kickflip.

Skate fast to destroy vicious demons, help a forgetful frog, and save other tortured souls on your journey from fragile beginner to hardened skater. Push through hell and discover The Devil’s greatest weakness: humility, perseverance, and a disgustingly sweet backside tailslide.

All you need is your skateboard.”

Nintendo

I’m not much into skating games but this definitely has my interest. I won’t be paying $20 for it mind you, but I for sure will keep an eye out for a sale.

Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remaster

Price: $29.99

System: Switch

Release Date: 12-9

“Eight heroes set off on their own journeys, as if guided by the hand of fate. Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- returns as a stunning remastered edition!

The gods created man and man created stories. The primordial creator Marda brought forth the land of Mardias. In ages past a mighty battle rocked this land, when Elore, the king of the gods, fought three malicious deities: Death, Saruin and Schirach. After a long and drawn-out struggle, Death and Schirach were sealed away and rendered powerless, with the final deity Saruin also trapped through the power of the Fatestones and the noble sacrifice of the hero Mirsa.

Now 1,000 years have passed since that titanic battle. The Fatestones lie scattered across the world and the gods of evil are resurgent once more. Eight heroes set off on their own journeys, as if guided by the hand of fate. What tales will these adventurers weave across the vast tapestry of Mardias? You are the only one who can decide!”

Nintendo

I really don’t know enough about this series to say if I’ll grab this or not. I’ve never given any of the games a clear shot. The only one I ever owned was the original version of this game on the (paid link) PS2, but I never played enough to form an opinion. There is a (paid link) physical of this remaster too, so check that out!

Little Rocket Lab

Price: $19.99

Systems: Switch & Switch 2

Release Date: 12-10

“You play as Morgan, an aspiring engineer headed home to complete your family’s dream project – a rocket ship! Finding home not quite how she left it, Morgan will need to research and build clever contraptions and sprawling factories to help the locals. From simple drills and furnaces to complex assemblers, cranes and miles of conveyor belts, you’ll convert local resources into useful materials and bring industry back to sleepy St. Ambroise.”

Nintendo

I’m not too sure what to think about this game yet but it reminds me of my younger years in gaming. I’m not sure why though but I plan to keep my eye on it.

Dunjungle

Price: $19.99

System: Switch

Release Date: 12-11

“Dunjungle is an action-packed roguelite about a monkey hero, adventuring into a jungle under the menace of a corruptive power that is transforming its peaceful creatures and destroying everything on its way.

You’ll explore continuously changing dungeons, temples, crypts, and other mysterious places, where you’ll find all sort of weird enemies and an arsenal of weapons, spells, and relics, granting you a different experience every time you play.”

Nintendo

Roguelite? Yes please! I have to check this out when it releases. This is up my alley. If you’re new here, I actually love roguelike games and made a list of them to feed the addiction. Go take a look and if you’re interested in a (paid link) physical copy for this one but it isn’t due out until March 20th as of right now.

Conclusion

Any of these catch your interest? They basically all did mine. It will be a bit before I buy and start any new games given what I’m already up against, but plenty to keep in mind for the future. Until next time guys, happy gaming.
