I never knew of this series until this game. It looks interesting enough.

Nintendo

I almost want to try this because it somewhat reminds me of (paid link) Overcooked in some way. Overall though, it’s a survival game which always catches my attention anymore.

Nintendo

This might be fun for a few minutes between other titles you’re playing. I’m not sure if I’ll be picking it up myself but it’s at least a curious game.

Cauldron

Nintendo

I was quite surprised to find this is a turn-based RPG. When I clicked it, I thought it would be another 2D game of some kind. Might have to keep my eye on it.

Nintendo

I’m not much of a Mortal Kombat fan but the games are fun to play every now and then. I might get this just due to the amount of games included. There is a (paid link) physical too, but it doesn’t release until December 12th. Same for the (paid link) Switch 2 version. Also worthy to note, the Switch 2 version is $10 more physically.

Here’s the (paid link) Switch 2 version if you want that. That’s the one I pre-ordered for myself. I’ve never given a Dragon Quest a serious chance so this is the perfect time for it.

Nintendo

You can find the Switch 2 version here. I’m not sure how to feel about this yet other than being curious about it. I’ll have to see more gameplay before deciding if it’s something I would want to play or not.

Nintendo

The more I look at this, the more I think I want to give it a try. I’m all for a roguelike game, as you may know given some of my past game pickups. Also articles like this one or the reviews I’ve done for Army of Ruin & Vampire Survivors.

Nintendo

I’m not sure about that price specifically but I think the game looks fun for the season. Especially since I am trying to play more horror games as part of my gaming goals for the year.

Greek Tragedy

Price: $15.99

Release Date: 10-30

System: Switch

“Greek Tragedy is a retro-styled indie survival horror game with puzzle elements. Help Amy keep her life on the college campus overrun by cultists and maybe save her relationship in the process. Nostalgic 90s 3D aesthetics included.”

Nintendo

I had to take the above link from a different version of the eshop than the NA one. For some reason, that version just wouldn’t pop up, despite actually being available in the NA store if you look on a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 system.

I think this looks pretty nice for a retro throwback title. I’m definitely wanting to give it a try, but I’ll be waiting for a discount.

System: Switch

“A surreal 3D platformer about childhood trauma, 80s-inspired horror, and broken memories.

Nintendo

I’m not all too sure what to think of it yet. Given that Little Nightmares III just released, I figured most people would be playing it on either their (paid links) Switch or Switch 2 systems. It looks similar by design so who’s to say if it’s just a clone or if it perhaps has a personality of its own.

Tales of Xillia: Remastered

Price: $39.99

Release Date: 10-31

System: Switch

“Experience Tales of Xillia, remastered for the first time ever. Amazon (paid link)

I was going to wait on this until later but decided to go ahead since I do like certain entries in the series, such as (paid link) Tales of Berseria.

Mina the Hollower

Systems: Switch & Switch 2

Nintendo

Unfortunately, I cannot find a price for this yet. I’m sure it will pop up soon as we aren’t far away from the release. I thought this looked intriguing and old school when it was announced. If you want the Switch 2 version, here it is.

Conclusion

Will you be buying of these Switch or Switch 2 games? I already have, which my wallet is screaming over. Oh well. Well, if you do pick any of these up, come give us a shout over on Facebook and tell us what you got.
