As I just reviewed Luigi’s Mansion not too long ago, I really wanted to go over what I considered to be my top 5 Luigi’s Mansion ghosts within the whole mansion. Now, these will be the portrait spirits, not the ones you find just randomly throughout. These are in order of the area they reside in.

Lydia

Found: Area 1

She really isn’t a complicated ghost to fight but something about the way you make her heart show has always been of interest. You just open her curtain and let the air inside. She freaks out and then she’s all yours for the vacuum.

Chauncey

Found: Area 1

This little guy really gave me a fright as a kid. I’m not sure why. Maybe because he was supposed to be a baby but then he started making the face seem above. Either way, Chauncey will always be remembered as the big bad baby for me.

Melody Pianissima

Found: Area 2

Ah the music lady. That’s what I always thought of her when I was a child. I really enjoy that you have to get her to appear by using all of the instruments at once. I just think it is such a cool way to do it. Plus the tune it plays itself is awezome. Good Mario nostalgia.

Madame Clairvoya

Found: Area 3

I know she’s one of the easier ghosts to capture after she’s done all that she can do for you. I like how she was willing to go back to her portrait afterwards, which I know is crazy because fighting the ghosts is the best part, right?

Vincent Van Gore

Found: Area 4

Personally, I liked the bit of challenge this ghost gives by making us deal with his paintings. It just added an extra flare to it all and was fun. The name too, I like the name.

Conclusion

Those are my fjve favorite ghosts from the first Luigi’s Mansion. What are yours? Come find us on Facebook and let us know. We’ll catch you in the next article. As always, happy gaming.
