I’ve never been much of a skater, but I can recognize that these games are pretty loved by the community.

I know I talked about this one in the last entry and I usually dislike bringing ip the same games twice in a row, but this is even a better deal than the last time.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma

Sale Price: $49.94
Original Price: $59.99
Sale Ends: Unknown
“The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope. You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you. “Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land.” The classic action-RPG and life-simulation gameplay beloved by Rune Factory fans across the globe is boldly reimagined in Guardians of Azuma. This all-new adventure takes place in the never-before-seen eastern country of Azuma where you will assume the Earth Dancer powers and fight against the corruption spreading throughout Azuma to bring hope back to this once-prosperous land. Choose from one of two protagonists whose destinies are intertwined by mysterious forces. Use sacred treasures to fight against the Blight’s many forms to restore the people, and even gods, to their natural glory. Take farming further, rebuilding entire villages and cultivating new allies and resources along the way. Explore seasonal-themed villages heavily inspired by traditional Japanese culture, each with brand-new festivals and revamped fan-favorites, as well as charming romance candidates.”

I got this at launch with the Switch 2 but it took the back burner next to (paid link) Bravely Default. The fact that this game is already $50 for the Switch is pretty amazing though and I think it’s worth it. Even if you have a (paid link) Nintendo Switch 2, you can upgrade for $10, making it cheaper than the (paid link) Switch 2 version.
Bioshock Collection

Sale Price: $9.99
Original Price: $49.99
Sale Ends: 9-14
“Experience the unforgettable worlds and monumental stories of the award-winning BioShock series with BioShock: The Collection. Journey to the cities of Rapture and Columbia across BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition, including all single-player add-on content. Fight for your life and outsmart your enemies, be it deep beneath the waves or high above the clouds.”
I just bought this one for myself and thought I would share it. So far, I’m about an hour into the first game and it’s going well. It is worth noting that I opted to play on the (paid link) Nintendo Switch 2, as I tried this game years ago on an OG Switch and found the screen was too small for me to properly see the game.
White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

Sale Price: $4.49
Original Price: $29.99
Sale Ends 8-31
“On the eve of the gift-giving holiday White Day, new Yeondu High School student, Lee Hee-min, sneaks into school to hide a box of candies for the girl of his dreams. But when the shutters slam shut, he finds himself trapped in the building overnight, hunted by killer janitors and haunted by the troubled souls of the dead.
Can Hee-min remain hidden while searching for clues to uncover the dark secrets of the building’s past? Or will the horrors that stalk the school’s eerie hallways by night claim his life before he can escape? With no weapons and limited supplies, there’s little room for error in this tense, stealth-based, Korean Horror classic, brimming with secrets, branching stories, and multiple endings.”
I was first introduced to this game when Eric Van Wilderman did a let’s play. Since then, I’ve tried my hand at it a few times but to no avail. It’s a fun game and has an interesting story, but I suck at hiding from enemies in a majority of titles. However, $5 for this game is a great deal and worth picking up with Halloween just around the corner.
Conclusion
Hopefully one of these will be of interest to you kind reader. As usual, share your pickups with us on one of our social media accounts if you wish. Also, make sure to check out our new weekly articles where we discuss what games I’m playing this week.
As always, happy gaming.
