This will be a new weekly article where I discuss the games I’m playing for the week and give updates about them. The number of games may change now and again as I finish games and start new ones. Let’s get into it.
Note: I’m taking guesses on some of these playtimes as not every game has an accurate counter.
House of the Dead Remake
System: Switch
Playtime: 45-50 minutes
I just completed my first run-through of this one. I’ll be doing a review for it in the near future, early next week I would say after I see a bit more of it. I discussed it in one of my Switch games on sale articles, which, go check out the new one I just published.
Geometry Survivors
System: Switch
Playtime: About 2 hours
This is another one of those roguelike auto-shooters I enjoy so much. You choose a geometry shape and do battle in what appears to be galaxy. It isn’t very complex nor is it the best, but it’s still fun to get into. I’m currently just playing through and getting credits to buy upgrades.
Bioshock
System: Switch
Playtime: About an hour
I’ve played the first two Bioshock games multiple times throughout the years but I haven’t done so recently enough to review them, so here we are. I opted for the (paid link) Switch version and playing on the (paid link) Nintendo Switch 2.
Luigi’s Mansion
System: 3DS
Playtime: About 45 Minutes
In the spirit of Halloween on the horizon, I thought I would try to make it through all three games before the end of October. I started with the 3DS version of the first game and plan to play the Switch version of (paid link) Luigi’s Mansion 2.
Donkey Kong Bananza
System: Switch 2
Playtime: Unknown
I’ve already written the review for DK, but yet, I find myself going through the post game content now. We are currently sitting at 594 bananas. I won’t spoil what that means in terms of story, but all is good so far. If you have been waiting to get this, don’t. Grab yourself a (paid link) copy today!
Just to note, the reason the playtime is marked as unknown is due to playing on someone else’s Switch. I have no clue what the play log says as I don’t have access to it.
Conclusion
There we have it. Those are the games I’m currently playing this week. Now, next week’s article could look vastly different, but I would doubt it. Anyway, I hope you all have fun with your own games.
