Hello all, who else has been enjoying their time with Hello Kitty Island Adventure? Well, I certainly have and I know others who have as well. Unfortunately, some gamers have found themselves in a bit of a predicament because they decided to time travel in Hello Kitty Islamd Adventure. Why should you not do this? Let’s discuss.

It Breaks Your Game

If you happened to not read the memo that we all received on the first day you opened the game, it specifically tells you to not time travel. If you aren’t familiar with what this is exactly, some people coming from (paid link) Animal Crossing: New Horizons have a habit of altering the Nintendo Switch’s clock to move time around for special events or to just play the next day instead of waiting. Hello Kitty Island Adventure specifically says to not do this, because you will be permanently banned from multiplayer and all time based events will be void.

Certain people have found out the hard way and lost a lot of play time due to this. If you enjoy playing the file you’re on, don’t do it.

Can You Reset It?

Yes, but you have to delete your current save and start all over. This is an obvious issue that a lot of us do not want to do. After playing since the game released, January 30th, the thought of losing my save is a little scary and would majorly put a damper on my desire to play.

Final Words

Do you play this game or have any desire to? The digital version is out now on the Nintendo Switch as well as Steam. A (paid link) physical copy is available for pre-order and releases March 25th. If you are already playing, then I hope you continue to enjoy your adventure and remember, do not time travel on Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

This game is so cute! I love Hello Kitty and I never time travel not since ACNL tbh.

I never really liked to time travel myself, but I definitely see why some people liked to! I did it on the very first AC game years ago to see a Christmas event but other than that, I usually like to just experience the game as is. Also, are you playing HK as well?

Not yet but it’s on my wishlist. I time traveled a few times in NL to get all the princess furniture when I was catching and selling rare beetles and I’m never doing it again. Play in the moment.

I hope you are able to get the game sometime soon and enjoy it! I’m not sure jow many hours I’ve played at this point but it’s still quite fun and I’ve still got a lot to do.
