Well, it’s that time of year. No, not Christmas and not even Thanksgiving. I’m talking about Black Friday, where we all used to rush into a store to grab whatever we could. What a time that used to be. Now it’s all gotten a little more simplified and isn’t nearly as chaotic as it used to be. A lot of stores such as Walmart actually do theirs over a period of time. Amazon is the king of this blog though, and therefore, I wanted to highlight some pretty great deals this year. This is focused on video games, so keep that in mind. So, what does Amazon Black Friday deals offer? Let’s discuss

Persona 3

OG Price: $39.99

Black Friday Price: $24.99

Persona 3 was a much awaited remake that a lot of people have seemed to enjoy. While I am yet to personally play this, I still highly appreciate all I’ve seen from it. At the low cost of $24.99 too, that’s quite the steal.

If you haven’t played a Persona game, we’ll here’s your chance. Go find it (paid link) here and do yourself the favor of a great purchase.

Silent Hope: Day One Edition

OG Price: Unknown

Black Friday Price: $19.99

I may not know what the original cost of this game was, but I can tell you it was not $20. I paid $50, I think, when it released last year. It may not be a game for everyone, but I really had fun with it. The different character’s styles of fighting gave plenty of opportunities to find your favorite. The dungeons go on for quite some time and even after about 10 hours, I was maybe 1/3 of the way through. I can’t swear to this because I haven’t checked to see jow long the game is, but I can say its worth what the cost is currently.

If an action RPG with multiple characters interests you, then hop over to Amazon and get you this great little (paid link) game for a deal.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

OG Price: $29.99

Black Friday Price: $19.99

A remake of a beloved GameCube Harvest Moon title, this game brings it back to the Switch, PS5 & Xbox. Farming games can become favorites of mine and this being my first Harvest Moon title, it holds a special place for me. It may not be the best discount on this list, being $10 less than the normal price, but it was still worth mentioning for any gamers out there looking for a nice, relaxing game to dive into.

You can find the (paid link) standard edition but also the premium edition as well by following that link. The premium edition is on sale for $29.99, and originally is $39.99. It comes with an extra goody or two.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure

OG Price: $49.99

Black Friday Price: $39.99

This is another one of these scenarios where the game is only $10 cheaper, but given Double Exposure was released less than a month ago, that’s a heck of a deal to pass on. I’m yet to enjoy this one for myself, but I’m hoping to do so soon. What really has my attention most is Max’s new powers, which if you’re familiar with the first game, you know Max could rewind time.

Now she can hop between two different realities. I’m quite intrigued and I’m resisting the urge to buy this game for myself right now. Ah, maybe soon. Anyway, if you’re a Life is Strange fan, then go purchase (paid link) this game right now and have fun!

Final Fantasy 1-VI Collection

OG Price: $74.99

Black Friday Price: $54.99

I recently bought the PS5 version of this, and now I see that the Switch version is on sale at a very nice price. $55 for 6 great RPGs? It really is a steal, pethaps the best one on this list. If you are a Final Fantasy fan and don’t own these, here’s your chance.

Go grab and (paid link) copy and have some fun. Sit around with the family and beat up some enemies over hot chocolate and eggnog.

Final Words

Seriously, Amazon gas tons of deals going on right now, so do yourself a favor and hop on over to see what all is available. I already see a few items I might grab for myself. Go have fun everyone!
