This was inspired by a blog I recently read over at The Game of Nerds’ website, which had author Eriq Dixon talking about the same topic. That’s why today I’ll be discussing some easy platinum trophies in 2024. These, as the title implies, are for the PS4 & PS5. Let’s hop in.
Cat Quest

Genre: RPG
Difficulty: 2/10
Hours: 9-12
This game has been out for a while now, and I’ve played it numerous times. It isn’t very difficult, if you do the quests and spend time getting all the magic. The final boss fights might serve some trouble, but as long as you’re doing plenty of exploration, there should be no problems involved in getting this one, and having a lot of fun in the mean time. Cat Quest offers a very cute and comical experience full of adventure.
The Suicide of Rachel Foster

Genre: Horror
Difficulty: 1/10
Hours: 7-10
Aside from this being a great story driven title, it’s also extremely easy to get all the trophies. You can even do so in a single playthrough if you know what you’re doing. Some are missable, so it might be wise to look at a guide to ensure you don’t skip over one. The game is sectioned off by days, so if you do skip one, you’ll have to play the game again up to that point.
I’ve written a review that dives deeper into the story aspect if that’s of interest.
Frightence

Genre: Horror
Difficulty: 1/10
Hours: 2
This game was ridiculously easy, took no time at all and was below mediocre. I did do a review, so please check that for further information on that bit.
As for the trophies, all you have to do is play through the game. There really isn’t anything that could be missed, as you need to find everything to really propel the story forward.
Spyro The Dragon

Genre: Adventure
Difficulty: 2/10
Hours: 6-10
For the record, I am specifically referring to the very first game within the Reignited Trilogy. I would say none of the original games were very difficult, but the first game especially was very easy, but it has so much charm and it makes it a real joy to play through.
What makes this game so easy though are the collectibles. All you really have to do to get the platinum is play the game, collect all the gems, dragons and dragon eggs and complete the secret level.
With this said, the only reason this game received a difficulty of 2 are the flight levels. They can be a real challenge, even for veteran players like myself who has played the game too many times to count.
Evil Inside

Genre: Horror
Difficulty: 1/10
Hours: 1-2
This is one of those P.T. clones that were popular and seen often for a while after it was discarded. The hallway is almost identical as well, but this isn’t a review, so I’ll skip over that. We’re here to discuss trophies.
You honestly cannot miss the platinum here. Making it through the game rewards you with all trophies, and it isn’t a long game on top of that. Perhaps I’ll write about this one more in detail soon.
Wire Lips

Genre: Horror
Difficulty: 1/10
Hours: 2-3
This game is in no way difficult, but there’s definitely trophies that could be missed if you aren’t searching thoroughly enough. That’s what happened to me, and I had to actually play through it twice. It isn’t a long game, and could probably be beaten at the 2 hour mark. Perhaps even at and hour and a half if you’re searching well enough and don’t do a lot of back tracking.
I covered this game in a review recently, so check that out.
Conclusion
While I’m sure there are a ton of games that could net you easy platinum trophies, I hand selected just a few to talk about. I hope this perhaps helps someone find a new game to play or helps add another platinum trophy for their collection.
