Hey everyone, I’m back and with a new review for a game called The Street 10. It was developed by the same individuals behind Wire Lips, so I thought I would give it a shot. Let’s discuss.
Story
“Caught in an infinite alley, look for Street 10 to find your way out.
You find yourself on “Street 10,” a mysterious segment of Tokyo’s urban streets.
Your mission: observe every detail around you.
If something unusual catches your attention, be alert and change your path.
Your Goal: to Find An Exit On Street 10.”
Wait…there was a story? This game legitimately had nothing story based. It was a straight walking sim.
Gameplay
“The Street 10” is a walking simulator set against the backdrop of Tokyo’s street landscape, where the mundane intertwines with the unusual. Noticing oddities is your key to uncovering the elusive Exit 10.
Leaderboards track those who have skillfully navigated the complexities of Tokyo’s streets, adding a competitive edge.
Clarification
When you play this game, you feel a liminal terror, everything happens late at night, with only the sounds of crickets audible. There are no screamers in this game, but sometimes the street frightens with its unpredictability. If you’re a city dweller, you might have noticed strange and anomalous things happening in real life, feeling like you’re the only one noticing them. Experience the fear of the unknown and the abnormal. But try to break out of this loop.
Walkthrough
Pay attention to the numbers on the traffic light; they will show you how far you’ve progressed in the game.

You walk around a very small street in Japan, noticing differences and trying to escape. Basically, you’ll need to hit the 10th street before you can exit and it isn’t very difficult to do. It took me about 10 minutes and I had beaten it technically 3 times and had all the trophies, so yes, I got the platinum as well.
Music
It would have been nice if this game had some, but it didn’t.
Graphics
Very minimal and bare, nothing special in the slightest. Unlike Wire Lips, which I at least grew to like the graphics of, this was just nothing to look at.
Controls
You walk around with the left analog stick, move the camera with the right, and hold either L1 or R1 to sprint. No interaction necessary.
Replayability
Absolutely none. I mean it, none. There is no reason to ever revisit this game.

Final Thoughts
Unlike Wire Lips, this game has no soul. I spent the entire time just running around doing literally nothing. We’re supposed to look for changes in the environment to help up escape? Okay, well all I did was run up the street and then back to where I started, which looped me back to the same street, and the number on the traffic light changed.
I saw very little that was unusual or abnormal, but yet all of the trophies popped up, and it seemed for no reason other than they could. I was desperately waiting for the game to end, for all the trophies to pop, and it took me a mere 10 minutes to get the platinum. Perhaps 15 if I’m pushing it, and I spent $3 on this one.
Unless you actually want an easy platinum, I would just steer clear from this game, and find something better to play. Heck, buy their other game, Wire Lips. It’s better, and that’s saying something.
