It’s been quite some time since we saw a brand new 2D Mario game, and today we were blessed by Nintendo with Super Mario Bros Wonder, a fun, creative, 2D Mario game.
Wonder Flowers
These were shown around, where different things happen when you touch them. In the trailer we saw pipes begin to move in all different direction, spouting water. Another one made the ground start to move and even Mario behaved weirdly. At the end, there was even one that turned him into an elephant.
More Chatacters?
In the last 2D Mario title, we had 4 chatacters to choose from:
Peach, Mario, Luigi and Toad
Now it seems we are for sure adding Daisy to that list, and Yoshi too. Though there was no official comment about such a happening, the video did show off Yoshi, even a complete team of 4 of them.
Release Date
We don’t have to wait too long to get our hands on this new one. It is coming October 20th, 2023. With Super Mario RPG releasing just a month later, we are pretty spoiled with Mario games this year.
