October flew by in the blink of an eye. Thankfully I can say I did put some good playtime into all of these games and I’m ready to talk about them. Since these games do cover some past games I played, perhaps check out July’s, August’s and September’s articles too. Anyway, let’s get into this October 2026 recap of the games I played.

Pokemon Sapphire

System: GBA

Playtime: 8 Hours & 24 Minutes

I got my third gym badge and am currently sitting outside of Fallarbor Town training. I put my Sableye and Combusken into storage and replaced them with Grimer and Sandshrew. I will be getting a Banette sometime in the future when Shuppet becomes available. Here’s the team so far:

Fatal Frame II

System: Switch 2

Playtime: 6 Hours 22 Minutes

I’m on chapter 6 at the Minakami Village Cemetery Path. I’ve made a lot of progress with this specific game and loving it now. The remake was done really well and even though there is a lot of back tracking, ths original game has that as well so it isn’t a surprise. The battles are not as annoying and don’t take quite as long. The Kuaabi chases are incredibly annoying but they aren’t too awful once you figure out the patterns and where to go. I was hoping to be done with this game prior to Halloween but that doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen at this point so expect another update next month.

Echoes of Aincrad

System: PS5

Playtime: 5 Hours 44 Minutes

I’m level 15 and I’m in Horunka right now. I just completed the first main quest you get after getting there and now about to start another. I am really enjoying the game and seeing pre-existing SAO story merge into this new one. I’m mostly hanging with the 1H sword skill but I did dabble in the rapiers as well.

Digimon Story Time Stranger

System: Switch 2

Playtime: 41 Hours 23 Minutes

I’ve completed the game once and have played up to the first few hours of my second playthrough. I did reach Agent Rank 10 so that’s been awesome. I’ll share some photo below of my rank as proof and also my working team:

Digimon World Dusk

System: Nintendo DS

Playtime: 10 Hours 51 Minutes

I finally got back into playing Dusk after finishing what I wanted with Time Stranger. I’m a Bronze Tamer at the moment but I just got my first Ultimate. I’m about the finish up the Palette Amazon mission so I’m making some great progress! Here is the team so far:

Kingdom Hearts

System: Switch 2

Playtime: 1 Hour 31 Minutes

I’m not very far yet. Only level 7 and I’m in the Alice in Wonderland world. It’s been quite a while since I played this game specifically so it’s been a lot of fun. I also have forgotten some of these details so it’s still exciting to get into. I will be slowly making my way through.

Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave

System: Switch 2

Playtime: 2 Hours 42 Minutes

I chose to work through Theodora’s path first. I am unfortunately not as far as I had hoped. I keep finding other ganes that distract me. Though I have made it to chapter 4 so still some progress was made. The game has the most fluent battle system of any of the titles so that’s been very nice.

Resident Evil Deadly Silence

System: Nintendo DS

Playtime: Unknown

I’ve made it to the Dormintory. This is actually the furthest I’ve made it in the first Resident Evil game to my memory, which is awesome. Hopefully I’ll keep up with it and see the ending finally.

Conclusion

That’s all for October. I am looking forward to sharing my progress in November as well but in the meantime, make sure to come back to take a look at my October’s game pickups which will be up within the upcoming days. thank you for reading and as usual, happy gaming!
