September is disappearing and unlike August’s games, I’m actually getting this out earlier. I also cut back on just how many games I did play so I feel like my time with each one went farther. So, let’s get into this September 2026 recap of the games I played.
Kirby’s Epic Yarn

System: Wii
Playtime: 29 Hours & 33 Minutes
We have 100% the game so the review will be up in the near future. I’ll say the road to completion was fun, challenging and sometimes frustrating. Overall, it was a fun experience and one I do look forward to talking more about. You can grab the (paid link) Wii version for about $15-30 for a good, CIB copy. Unfortunately the (paid link) 3DS version is quite a bit more, setting at $100+ at this moment.
Dante’s Inferno

System: PS3
Playtime: 1 Hour & 15 Minutes
I remember some parts of this game, more than I thought I would and it makes me so glad to be going through it again. I’m still pretty early on but the game has been a fun challenge for me. I also have died a few times so that’s been interesting too. I’m at the Lust Circle of Hell so it’s about to get interesting.
Digimon Story Time Stranger

System: Switch 2
Playtime: 34 Hours & 38 Minutes
I’m currently trying to reach agent rank 10 prior to finishing the game’s story. I’m not sure this is possible but I have done a ton of quests and unlocked a lot of Agent Skills. At the very least, all of this will make it easier to unlock the Digivolutions I have not unlocked yet. Here are some pictures of my Digimon and Agent Skills.

You can read my review for the Steam version here and also I wrote some tips as well.
Dead Nation

System: PS3
Playtime: Unknown
I was able to beat the game so a review will be in the future. It was a great experience to enjoy again and I may attempt a harder difficulty later on. The zombies got plentiful near the end it made for a nice challenge. My favorite gun is still the rifle though.
Fatal Frame II

System: Switch 2
Playtime: 4 Hours & 39 Minutes
Ah yes, I have finally returned to the remake. After a good time away, I thought I would see how the game feels to me now. Thankfully, a lot of my annoyance had faded and the enemies didn’t feel like sponges. It’s actually been enjoyable, aside from the Kuaabi. Seriously, those chase scenes have been ridiculous but they haven’t taken away my determination to appreciate this game.
So, I’m on chapter 5 now and just made it back to the Osaka house. My upgrades for the Camera Obscura have been all over the place. I definitely have to say the visuals for this game are really amazing and it was fun to explore a bit before going for the next story objective.

Conclusion
That’s all for this month. I am putting forth more effort in playing a select few titles rather than being all over the place. I make a lot more progress that way and it is honestly more fun for me since I don’t feel so overwhelmed and stuck with them all. I can say October will be another interesting round of games and look forward to my September game pickups that will be available to read in the upcoming days.
