Back again and now with more game pickups than I set off to get. This was due to some really great deals so I’m pretty content with my purchases. I also just posted my September 2026 recap as well so go read that too.. Anyway, go check out August’s pickups if you wish and let’s get started.
Playstation 3

Assassin’s Creed bundle
I’ve been wanting to get into the Assassin’s Creed games for some time now but never felt the need to purchase the games. Thanks to a good friend, he pointed me in the direction of a super good deal and here we are. It might still be a month or so before I dive in fully though, given some other titles.

Bioshock & Bioshock: Infinite
I have a ton of great memories with the original Bioshock. Despite already owning it on the (paid link) Playstation 4 & (paid link) Nintendo Switch, I really wanted to replay the game the original way I started. I did indeed start playing but fell short when other games came up. Still, I’ll be sure to get back to it soon. As for Infinite, I never beat it. The last major showdown kept killing me and I quit. Though this has been many, many years ago so I look forward to experiencing it all again.

Dead Space trilogy
I was able to secure another good deal thanks to the same friend who found the Assassin’s Creed titles for me. I’ve already played a little of Dead Space and also visited Dead Space 2 Severed as it’s been a while since I last played. One great aspect about the PS3 release of Dead Space 2 is that the disc includes Dead Space Extraction, which is a prequel to the first Dead Space.

Lair
I know this game has really aged poorly and a lot of people, though maybe more recent than when the game released, talk about how bad the controls were. I’ll give them that, even playing for a short span of time tells you the controls, motion controls mind you, weren’t the best and definitely not by today’s standards. However, as a title I remember being pretty big when I started playing a (paid link) Playstation 3, this is something I just had to have in my collection.
Dante’s Inferno
I was very lucky with ordering from GameStop online. I got this with a coupon and tried my luck. I paid a whole $27 after shipping and got this beauty. I’ve had this game a couple of different times over the years but hadn’t found it again at a good price. I’m glad to have it again.
Switch 2

Moss The Forgotten Relic
These are Moss Books I & II turned from VR gamed to one flat screen experience. I’ve not played but maybe 30 minutes so far. It’s fun but different since I am used to the VR version. This game is currently on pause for me as other games have more of my attention.
Conclusion
That’s all for me this month. I did go over my goal but I managed to snag some good deals so no harm there. I am just happy to have some more great games to play and talk about. Stay tuned for more review and other random articles I deem necessary to write about.
