Another month, another amount of games bought. If you happened to see our original 2026 goals post that the Downs, Charle and I did, you would know I was trying to soft Limit my game purchases. I’m happy to report I did an extremely great job this month. Let’s begin with these April 2026 game pickups.
Switch 2

Pragmata
Like so many others, I was eager to jump into this after enjoying Resident Evil Requiem’s success. I’m not that far in, about three hours but it’s been a really fun time. Don’t have a copy? Pragmata is available on the (paid links) Nintendo Switch 2, Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X.

Super Mario Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park
I’m currently working on the review for this now. I never did write a review for the (paid link) Switch version so it will be nice to tackle the entire game as a whole. The (paid link) Switch 2 version is $80 but you can get cheaper (paid link) used Switch copies and buy the upgrade.

Vampire Crawlers
Being such a big fan of Vampire Survivors, I couldn’t wait to player Vampire Crawlers. The roguelike formula turned into a first person dungeon crawler sounded very appealing and honestly, it works very well. It’s just as addictive and fun with the right amount of challenge. It’s also only $10 which I was happy with. You can check out my review for Vampire Survivors here.
Steam

Resident Evil 6
With this in my library, I know have all mainline Resident Evil titles in some form. I’m not sure when I’ll get around this exactly but stay tuned and while you’re at it, you can check out my reviews for Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 8 & Resident Evil Requiem.
Conclusion
That’s all for April 2026. I cut down on what I bought by a lot and kept under the soft limit of 10 games. I’m having fun with the games I got and I can’t wait to share the games I’m playing with you all in my new monthly recaps, which April’s will be this Friday so look forward to that. Until next time, happy gaming!
