So it’s time to change courses everyone. I typically do these articles by the week but it was getting tiresome and being a problem so, here we are. My solution is to do one big article at the end (or beginning) of the month talking about what I played. Let’s get started with the April 2026 Recap of the games I’m playing.

Resident Evil 8

System: Switch 2

Playtime: Unknown

I’m still on my Village of Shadows playthrough. I’ve made it to Heisenberg but now I’m stuck. I did do a fully upgrades S.T.A.K.E. with infinite ammo so I haven’t had too, too rough of a challenge up to this point. Granted, I’m unsure if I’ll try to complete the challenges at this point or move onto a different game. You can check out my review for the game here.

Resident Evil 5

System: Steam Deck

Playtime: Unknown

I’m currently on 2-3, which has been fun so far. I’ve played Resident Evil 5 a couple of different times in the past but definitely not recently. I thought this would be fun to pickup and play from time to time.

Pokemon Sapphire

System: Gameboy Advance

Playtime: 2 Hours & 57 Minutes

I just beat the first gym after deciding to stop training and just play. As a reminder from my last entry, I already have 4/6 Pokemon. I’ll post a picture below:

Super Mario Wonder

System: Switch 2

Playtime: Unknown

We’ve already beaten the main game and are going back to do cleanup. The Bellabel Park Brigade Tent content is also finished but we’ve been playing some minigames. We did just start accessing the secret world (find the name) so that’s a journey left to be had. You can get your (paid link) copy today or get the upgrade to experience it too!

Fatal Frame II

System: Switch 2

Playtime: 2 Hours & 47 Minutes

I’m still in the Kurosawa House. I’m being chased and I kind of really dislike this about the remake. It was annoying enough in the original when you had an enemy you couldn’t beat but this is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I’m not saying I won’t keep playing but it really doesn’t make me want to play often.

Vampire Crawlers

System: Switch 2

Playtime: Unknown

I’m currently at Cappella Ultima, which seems to be tied into the last area, Cappella Magma. It’s been an incredibly addictive experience and I feel like I will probably have a review out for this before May’s recap goes live so be on lookout.

Pokopia

System: Switch 2

Playtime: Unknown

I’m not very far in this game still. I’m on Bleak Beach but I haven’t done but a couple of requests. I sort of let other titles get in the way and it got put on the back burner in comparison. Hopefully I’ll give it a real look again soon.

Muramasa Rebirth

System: PS Vita

Playtime: 4 Hours & 39 Minutes

Still currently on Momohime’s story and on Act 7. I really need to focus more on this game soon as it’s been one I’ve been thinking about a lot even before I got the (paid link) Vita version back.

Pragmata

System: Switch 2

Playtime: 2 Hours & 45 Minutes

I’m currently in the Terra Dome. The game is fun and I’m enjoying it a lot. Hopefully I’ll have a good deal of more time in by the next update.

Conclusion

That’s all for April. I feel I played a good amount but hopefully May will be better. I’m already trying to keep up with all my games more evenly so we will see how that works out. Until next time, happy gaming!
