That time already and my goodness, am I happy. Oh, I’m talking about Spring, not the games, but those are exciting too! A lot of these I just talked about in my Steam Spring Sale pickups article, so don’t expect very big updates on some of these. With that said, let’s discuss these March game pickups.

Steam

Dead Space 3

I’ve beaten the base game and the DLC for this game already. I’m currently working on a review and something else for it as well. Those should be up in the very near future.

Dead Space

It’s getting closer to the time for me to play this game again, and I’m excited about it. Although I did write a review for this game, it was for the (paid link) PS5 version. This time, I’ll be running through the Steam version. I’ve already discussed how I feel the game is almost like a different game in the series and less like a remake, but that’s not bad.

The Pony Factory

I haven’t been able to start this quite yet so I don’t have anything to say unfortunately. However, check out the Steam store page for more information.

Alice Madness Returns

This was a great game from the PS3 & Xbox 360 era of gaming. It was a dark and gritty Alice in Wonderland game that a lot of people enjoyed. Unfortunately, the sequel never happened and was even officially canceled as of 2023.

Nexomon: Extinction

I think I’ve bought this game 3 times now. I’ve already beaten it too but I never reviewed it. One day soon, I plan to play through the first game and this one, so look out for some reviews in the future.

If you have never played one of these games, well they are creature capture games like Pokemon. Personally, I really like them for their humor and designs. You can grab a duo pack on the (paid link) Switch if curious.

Hogwarts Legacy

I still haven’t started this one yet but I hope to soon after knocking out another game.

The Killing Antidote

I already talked about how the demo did a great job at selling me the game and if you’re on the fence, I absolutely recommend playing it first. It’s such a fun title though with tight controls and quite the challenge. I’m still in the first location and having a time with it. My ammo has already run scarce and I can’t seem to find any medical supplies but I’m getting by and having fun doing it!

Remilore

I saw this on sale for $4 and thought I’d get it on Steam and sell my PS4 copy. I’ve never actually played the game though.

Undertale

This was a widely liked game by many people for its deeper meaning behind your choices shaping the outcome of the game. I’ve had this game once before but I didn’t really get into it back then. With it only being $1, I thought it was worth the risk. I’ll get around to it eventually.

Need for Speed: Heat

I know very little to nothing about this game. I saw someone post about it near the sale’s end and I thought I would grab it since it was only a few dollars. I used to play some NFS games when I was younger and thought it might be fun to play on the Steam Deck. I haven’t tried it quite yet.

Switch

Digimon World Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition

I’ve tried to finish both of these games a couple of different times, but I figured now would be the chance to really give them a go. With Digimon Time Strangers coming later in the year and it also taking place after the story events of these two games, I thought this would be a fun ride. i’m not too far into the first game, a couple hours perhaps, but they are a lot of fun for anyone who hasn’t played them. Go get yourself a (paid link) copy today.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

This was my first Harvest Moon title as a kid on the GameCube and I was super excited when I saw it getting a remake. For those unaware, Story of Seasons are games made by the previous Harvest Moon team, which was just as great as the older games. Now I did already own this on the (paid link) PS5 but I thought it would be much easier for me to get on the (paid link) Switch since I have better access to it at this very moment.

With that said, I haven’t actually started it quite yet. I do plan to soon, but only after I finish a couple of other games, that I fully plan to review here.

Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection

This is a must have for any Yu-Gi-Oh fan. Especially if you grew up with the original series and knew of the games. There’s so many to get into and I am especially fond of the GBA title, The Sacred Cards. This was just released at the end of February, and I am already loving it. Go get yourself a (paid link) copy and enjoy the nostalgia!

Minions Survivors

I already wrote a review for this game and talked about how short it is. Even compared to other short roguelike experiences like Cat Survivors, this one takes the cake. It isn’t a bad game, but two levels at 10 minutes each is not enough.

Final Words

March was full of games and a lot of Steam sale goodness. I’m happy to say it appears April will also be a fun month and I do look forward to discussing all of those games with you as well. In the meantime, look out for more articles and happy gaming everyone.

  1. […] did just buy a physical copy of this game not long ago in March but if I hadn’t, I would be jumping all over this deal. Two great games for the cheap price […]
