The new is out and it’s good my friends, Xenoblade Chronicles X is officially coming to the Nintendo switch on March 20th, 2025! This is something I’ve seen a ton of fans asking for, and I’m excited to know they have listened. If you are not familiar with Xenoblade Chronicles, let’s get some history out of the way.

Xenoblade Chronicles History

Originally released in 2010 in Japan, the first game hit the Wii system. The Wii was home to a few different interesting JRPGs and this is just one of them, but it made a big splash. It later was brought to NA, and then it spawned a few remakes and a series. A remake for the first game was released for the new 3DS in 2015 and later we saw it released for the Switch in 2020. Then we got Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in 2017, which was a change up from the originals in gameplay, and then finally received the 3rd title in 2022, which I haven’t played for myself yet.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was released for the Wii U in 2015 and fans have been asking for a remake for a while now. It’s nice to finally see it happening, and we’ll also have all the Xenoblade games all on one system.

Graphics Upgrade

Say what you will about the Switch, but I believe this remake to look pretty nice. I suppose we will have to wait and see how it is when it fully releases, but I quite like what we’ve seen so far.

The Sad Truth

I have to admit, I never got to play any of this game. It passed over me when I was using my Wii U, but hey, I’ll get the chance to try it now.

Conclusion

So, will you be buying this day one? I’m not quite sure myself, but regardless if I do or don’t, I hope others will enjoy their time with it. If you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer.
