Army of Ruin is a fantastic roguelike autoshooter that I wrote a review for last year. It’s still a game I go back and play every now and then when I have downtime and I figured I would highlight some of what I believe to be the top 5 best Army of Ruin weapons in the game.
Also, make sure to check out the sister blog to this one that covers my top 5 trinkets within the game.
Ranger Bow

I have two different weapons that always interest me in any game I play. A nice sturdy 1H sword and a bow and arrow. Something about long-range attacks interest me, but not so much if a wand is involved. The bow in this game is associated with Ker who is an elf and her special ability is quite helpful when surrounded by enemies.
Ghostly Trail

This is an ongoing weapon that never stops. There are no cool down periods. It’s always making a trail behind you as you run around. The enemies that step on this trail will take damage.
Throwing Axe

This will attack enemies close to you like a boomerang, more or less. It comes in handy for crowd control if enemies get a bit too close for comfort.
Whirlwind Pickaxe

This is exactly as the name implies. It’s a pickaxe that swirls around the player and damages enemies. It stays a good couple feet, I think, away from you, so it also acts as a nice barrier of sorts.
Volcanic Orbs

These are fireballs that surround the player and also act as a barrier. I like this because they also set the enemies on fire for a short period of time.
Conclusion
If you’re enjoying your time with this game, I hope you continue to. I hope these Army of Ruin weapons recommendations have been of some help to you. If you enjoy this game, also check into Monster Panic, and if you want a bigger list of similar games, then I have that right here. If you want to don’t own this and want to see this game for yourself, then go check it out on Playstation, Steam, and Switch
Until next time, peace.
