After the tem and I did our Switch Games under $10 article, we had already planned to make a second one talking about Switch Games Under $20. Here we are and we are ready. Let’s begin!
Andrew
The Suicide of Rachel Foster

Price: $19.99
Genre: Atmospheric Horror
This is one of my absolute favorite games. From the story to the setting, it gives you a sense of calm but that lingering feeling of dread all at the same time. An empty hotel during a blizzard and a story that tore apart a community. What secrets will Nicole find out about her family?
You can read my full review here, which I do really recommend but only if you want spoilers. The game is worth every penny but if you want, the game goes on sale often enough. I either paid $2 or $3 for it.
Silksong

Price: $19.99
Genre: Metroidvania
I talk about this game a lot and for good reason. It was one of the best games of last year, which you can read more about my top 10 list for 2025, but anyway, Silksong was fantastic. It’s definitely a challenge but for a $20 game? It’s beyond worth it. Check out my review for more details.
Jeopardy

Price: $19.99
Genre: Party Games
I used to play this fairly often with family via the (paid link) Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune physical duo pack. We spent more time with Jeopardy than the other, thus why I’m recommending it. The game has several categories and there’s some good fun to be had when competing against each other. There is even a kid’s mode in game if you have younger participants.
Resident Evil Revelations

Price: $19.99
Genre: Horror
One of my favorite Resident Evil titles. This is a game you could go into blind, technically, but you may be missing some pretty important information. One reason I do really like this game is the atmosphere. Being stuck on a boat when you’re Jill and then Chris being in the mountains.
Signalis

Price: $19.99
Genre: Horror
This is unfortunately a game I used to own (paid link) physically and sold off. I’ll have to grab it again at some point but everyone talks about how great it is. Unfortunately I can’t vouch but the gameplay looks pretty great.
Downs
For this list, I pulled together a handful of titles you might have forgotten about, along with a few classics worth revisiting. If you’re looking for quality Switch games under $20, these are my recommendations.
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus

Price: $14.99
Genre: Visual Novel
With the recent mobile release, now’s a great time to experience the best version on the go. What starts as a visual novel quickly shifts into psychological horror after a certain moment. It’s a memorable experience that sticks with you long after you finish.
Duck Game

Price: $12.99
Genre: Action
A fantastic party game to play with friends. You control ducks battling it out in fast-paced survival matches. Between the chaotic gameplay and the excellent soundtrack, it’s easy to sink dozens of hours into this one.
Persona 4 Golden

Price: $19.99
Genre: JRPG
With Persona 4 Revival on the horizon, this is the perfect excuse to revisit a classic. This enhanced version of the PS Vita release features higher resolution and additional gameplay options. It’s one of the best JRPGs ever made and works exceptionally well as a portable experience.
Rainbow Moon

Price: $14.99
Genre: RPG
An unconventional but enjoyable SRPG. It can be a bit grind-heavy at times, but it’s still a solid pick, especially for on-the-go play sessions.
Wild Guns Reloaded

Price: $19.99
Genre: Arcade Shooter
An enhanced remake of a rare SNES title. This arcade-style shooter blends classic shootouts with co-op chaos. The Switch version also includes two extra playable characters not found in other releases.
Charle
Miyamoto

Price:$3.99
Genre: Card Deck Building/Tactical Strategy
It’s a card deck building game, with tactical strategy elements.
You start off with a standard deck, and after each battle, you win more cards. Use these extra cards to assemble a powerful team, and even gain bonus abilities for each card you deploy. Other elements of this game include special units like Yoichi, Hanzo, and the Yakuza can be unlocked through special battle coins. The ultimate boss is Miyamoto, so onward to victory!
Godzilla Voxel Wars

Price: $14.99
Genre: RTS
Fight monsters alongside Godzilla and find the optimal strategy to beat the stage?
This is a tactical strategy game that puts you in control of Godzilla and other units. Combat is based on a grid system, allowing you to see attacks coming, as well as planning for your next move. You can also replay missions to score more points and a higher rank. The game also includes a mission builder mode you can share with others online.
Nickelodeon Splat Pack

Price: $14.99
Genre: Platformer Collection
Summary: It’s a collection of three different games. Guts, Rocko’s Modern Life: Spunky’s Dangerous Day, and Ahhh! Real Monsters.
Guts is a sports event based game that is adapted from the show. Compete in several events and go after the trophy, the Aggro Crag!
Rocko’s Modern Life: Spunky’s Dangerous Day is an exciting puzzle and platformer where you have to protect Spunky through 16 different levels that take place across the show’s setting, O-Town.
AHHH! Real Monsters is a Platformer where you can take control of either monster and go through different levels solving puzzles and scaring humans. You can choose between the Sega or SNES version so you don’t have to stick to only one.
Bonus things included in this game are listening to soundtracks, a rewind feature, and save anywhere during gameplay.
Lia: Hacking Destiny

Price: $14.99
Genre: Action Rogue Lite Platformer
The robot apocalypse has taken over the world. You are a part of a human resistance group to fight back. And liberate as much as you can to show your overlords who is boss.
Use an array of different melee and ranged weapons to look into factories and other points of interest that have a robot in charge. A bonus thing to do is free cats! Viral cat videos have taken over, but free them from this endless cycle and gain a legion of cats to back you up.
Storyteller

Price: $14.99
Genre: Action/Puzzle
You have full control of history’s greatest stories, and you get to tell them however you want. Combine, subtract, or add a big stable of character and elements to write your own story.
The interface is setup as a storybook and you can change our different elements of a story to change outcomes, or line up with expected ones. You are on limited by your own imagination.
This game has a lot of potential to unlock your creativity. You have command of words, dragons, monsters, and are able to change the destiny of classic tales told from the past.
Conclusion
That’s all for this list! Hopefully one of these will be a game that catches your interest! Make sure to stay tuned for future articles, such as Switch 2 game reviews and more! As always, happy gaming!
