Hello all and welcome. If you missed the Nintendo Partner Showcase Direct, then go catch up because there is a ton of information there. However, that’s not why we’re here today. Digimon Story Time Stranger is coming to the Switch and Switch 2! Let’s discuss.
When?
July 10th is our magical date. So, not long at all. It’s about time given the game came out October 2nd of last year for Steam, (paid links) PS5 & XSX. Which, I did do a review already and wrote some tips if anyone needs some guidance.
How Much?
Well, keep in mind that these are North American prices but both versions of the game will be $60. The Switch version will get a free update if you pop it into a Switch 2 to upgrade the quality of the graphics. So no upgrade path, which I find interesting. It’s surprising the Switch 2 version isn’t $10 higher like most other titles.
Graphics
The Switch 2 will run two different modes, Quality and Performance. Each with their own benefits. I’ll share a picture below:
Already Up for Pre-Order
You can find both physicals for the (paid link) Switch and the (paid link) Switch 2 over on Amazon. I already went with the Switch 2 version, which is a Game Key Card and will require 16 GB of space. Of course I would have preferred the entire game on the cart but it is what it is at this point.
Conclusion
