This book is a wonderful addition to any fall read list. It has cozy vibes wrapped in cardigans, and decorated with gourds of all shapes and sizes. Just like our bookshelves during this time of year. The Pumpkin Spice Cafe will heighten all of your senses in preparation for the cold sweater months ahead. The sentences easily captivate the aroma of pumpkin lattes, warm coffee and hot cocoa. It’s the perfect combination with falling leaves all around Dream Harbor.
Similar to Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls, the small town community is inclusive and just as rewarding, whether you are cuddling up in a blanket with this book or watching the timeless series. With town meetings, fall festivals, and a budding romance it will be sure to compel you to read until every page is turned over.
Jeanie is looking for a fresh start away from the hustle and stress of the big city. With an opportunity beckoning her to her home town, she moves into her aunt’s cafe, ready to try on the relaxed small town cafe owner lifestyle, and a better, more comfortable version of herself.
