After hours with the good game that is Donkey Kong Bananza, we now get to rank the transformations within it. We already wrote our review, and we have another article or two in store so make sure to keep an eye for those as well. Now, let’s rank these Bananza transformations.
Snake

This has to be my least favorite. While I appreciated the extra jump, I didn’t find the skills all that interesting. Yes, you can use glare to slow the world around you, but how often did I actually use it? Very, very little.
Zebra

While I saw the potential for this transformation, it overall lacked any real use. Outside of the areas where you needed to run faster than the breaking bridge you were on, it didn’t serve a purpose otherwise.
Ostrich

I really liked that you could use this to fly and glide. This I used often after receiving it, for either the intended purpose or to just glide over areas I didn’t want to make myself run through.
Kong

This is the first Bananza you learn and it’s nearly the best. It is only topped by one other, which I’ll get to momentarily. Why did this one come in handy? Other than the material that demanded the use of its strength to be destroyed, you also could tear up lots of terrain very fast with the Kong Bananza.
Elephant

This has to be the most helpful Bananza in the whole game. The elephant is designed to inhale all the terrain with his trunk, turning it into boulders you can throw. The benefit of this is more so that you can inhale tons of terrain, destroying it all much faster and finding all those secret goodies.
Conclusion
Are you currently playing Donkey Kong Bananza or finished it? It’s sitting on the shelf for me, happily done. You can grab yourself a (paid link) copy here, and join in the fun if you haven’t already.
Until next time, happy gaming.
