Sorry for the lack of content last week, everything got a bit busy. With that said, here is the Darwin’s Game review!

Story
Kaname Sudo gets a message from his friend during the night, and opens up the app Darwin’s Game. Upon doing so, he is bitten by a snake, and such, he is trusted into a fight for his life. Though this doesn’t happen immediately and after not heeding the warning of his friend, he opens the app in public, where the rookie killer, who wears the school mascot suit, targets him.
Fast forward, after he suffers the loss of his friend and soon discovers he doesn’t have much choice but to participate in this game. After meeting Shuka, one of the top players, and forming an alliance with hers, he begins to really discover his own role in the bigger picture.
Though I won’t spoil a majority of the story, I’ll say that it ramps up pretty well, with some nice pacing and a story that keeps you on edge.
I didn’t stop once I started, literally binge watching this in a single day, which is actually quite uncommon for me.
Characters
There’s an interesting cast here. Rein, Ryuuji, Kaname and Shuka. Shuka is dressed a bit like a certain other character from Date A Live. If you look at the photo at the start of the blog, you may see who I mean.
They each have colorful personalities, each bringing something different to the table. Then the antagonist Wang, and his crew. There’s a mixture of other characters with their own Sigils, but I won’t be going over everyone.

This is an anime that I really wish had gotten a 2nd season, because it truly was just that addicting. This is found on Netflix, so if you have any interest, hop on it. Hope everyone enjoyed this week’s Anime Tuesday entry and the Darwin’s Game review!
