June 2026 was gone before it started for me. I barely even had time to enjoy it but hey, I managed to play some games during that time so here we are. Let’s get started with my June 2026 recap.
Forza Horizon 6
System: Steam
Playtime: Unknown
I’m not very far into this as I thought I would be. I playwd for a while and sort of got out of it because of life. However, what I did play was very fun and I’ve got the green wristband, which is a start. Also, because I played Forza Horizon 4, even for a small amount of time, I got the Vulcan.
Resident Evil Requiem
System: Switch 2
Playtime: Unknown
I’m still going through this somewhat at a snails pace for content purposes. You can find all the shorts on the site’s YouTube account so check those out! It’s been fun to play again for a different purpose. Might do the same for (paid link) Resident Evil Village too, which you can find my review for here.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book
System: Switch 2
Playtime: Unknown
I just published the review for (paid link) Yoshi and the Mysterious Book so make sure to go check it out. I really enjoyed my time with this game. As a long time Yoshi fan, it definitely hit a nice spot of fun, childlike wonder and joy that Nintendo is known to deliver.
LumenTale
System: Steam
Playtime: 1 Hour & 17 Minutes
This is a creature collecting and turn based battle RPG that has been getting a lot of attention upon release. Unfortunately I fell put of playing it rather quickly before it started getting interesting. You can see my team below though:
I want to get back to this at some point since I thought it had good ideas. Such as a multi team battle and not just a one versus one. The creatures are unique and curious too.
Royal Revolt Survivors
System: Switch 2
Playtime: Unknown
I’ve currently made it to Expedition: Mesa & Glacial Northland. It’s a fun roguelike auto-shooter. Not as great as Army of Ruin but it does share similarities between the two so that probably boils does to simple preference than technicalities. I know I’ll be spending more time with it in the future so stay tuned.
Pokemon Sapphire
System: GBA
Playtime: 4 Hours & 12 Minutes
I’ve got 2 badges so far and rocking a team of 5 Pokemon. I added a Sableye to my team while I was in Dewford Town and now I’m doing a bit of training. It’s been fun and it has also been nice to get back to using my (paid link) Gameboy Micro. I recently wrote an article talking about why I missed pocket handhelds and it definitely added to the creation of that piece. Here is a picture of my team:
Klonoa
System: Switch
Playtime: Unknown
Currently on vision 2-1 so not very far. I really wanted to hop into this one next more than Spyro (sorry Spyro) since I haven’t experienced absolutely any of Klonoa 2 within this bundle. That’s still a little bit away but hey, progress. I’ve been a fan of the series since the original (paid link) Klonoa 2 on the (paid link) Playstation 2 and then I got (paid link) Klonoa on the (paid link) Wii. I’m very excited to see it through until the end.
Conclusion
