I’m back and with a seriously cute and possibly nostalgic game, Frogo is a trophy hunter’s best friend, and I’m going to talk about why. It’s important to note that this isn’t just about a singular game. This is about an entire series. There’s 3 Frogo games, and this applies to all of them.
They’re cheap
I wouldn’t pay full price for these games, as the first one is $.99 and that’s alright, the other two are $1.99 each. I bought them on sale, and spent less than $3.50 for them all.
They’re Easy
All you’re doing is collecting strawberries in the first two games and then bananas in the last one. The first couple of games take maybe 3 minutes to finish if that. The last one takes probably 5, I would say. It does involve you crossing a few roads, and avoiding cars, but I never died, so it isn’t hard if you pay attention.
3 Platinums in 10 Minutes
That’s literally all it took me to get them. I was playing the games on my Portal, and was collecting the trophies so fast that it just stopped showing them at some point. I only got notified after getting the platinum, which was fine and all. The first couple games give you a mixture of trophies, i.e. bronze, silver and gold. The final game gives you straight bronze, but there’s 70 of them. Yes, you read that right.
Nostalgia
Anyone remember the game Frogger? Well, that’s essentially what these games are, they’re just not as long. If you’re a fan of the old game, then this might just give you the itch to revisit it.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for something a bit nostalgic and very easy to play while racking up trophies, this is it. These games take no time to play, are cheap (especially if caught on sale) and also don’t take up any space on your PS5 if you do happen to be running low.
